A message from a Foster mum:

"I left our home as a result of domestic violence and we were living in a hotel with 3 young children.

After having a long day with the kids and worrying about how I was going to provide Christmas this year, I was ready to return to the person who put their hands on me time and time again.  

My case worker snuck into the door with a bag full of items and asked to see me in the 'other room' so the kids couldn't see. As I snuck a peak in the bag, all I could see were the most beautiful, brightly wrapped presents with little handmade cards with my kids names on them.  

I burst into tears and knew I could do this, I could stay strong and start again with my kids because I wasn't alone.  

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do, I honestly think you may have saved our lives, but you definitely saved our Christmas.  It has been way too long since I have heard my kids giggle and squeal and this Christmas, those giggles were in abundance."
